Spatial music for all listeners
At ShoeBox audio mixing your music in stereo is a given. But we also offer mixing your music in full 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos spatial audio.
All major music streaming services (except for Spotify – at present) now stream Dolby Atmos audio which decodes into the appropriate spatial audio format for the playback device – from binaural in headphones through to full 7.1.4 for cinema.
We can record, produce and mix your songs entirely in this format.

With more than 25 years of studio experience at hand, ShoeBox Audio provides high quality recording and mixing services for artists of all types, styles and genres. We specialise in small ensembles, vocalists, overdubbing, and experimental sound creation.
In addition to the Dolby Atmos equiped mix room, the studio has one recording room that is tight sounding with an unusually low noise floor, and a second more open and reflective recording space.
We have a range of high quality recording equipment on hand and can easily access a wider range of equipment if required.
We also house a large collection of vintage keyboards and synthesisers.

Whether in a warehouse or a cathedral, or somewhere in between, ShoeBox Audio can record you where you make music. We can even go off grid.
We bring our expertise and a recording rig to your preferred space. Depending on the scope of your project, we scale the recording to meet your needs, from stereo through to 24-track and from traditional recording methods to modern spatial and ambisonic techniques.
